Cape Bojeador Light House

I was really happy, imagine for PhP 2300, we were able to enjoy the holy week for 3days and 2 nights!!
Well, for almost 9 hours drive going to pagudpud, my vacation leave was well spent.

First stop was at Cape Bojeador Light House also known as Burgos Lighthouse..If you really want to appreciate the Lighthouse, you must be prepared to do a lot of climbing!! You need to climb several flight of stairs and the spiral one too.. You can also go and see the beacon Light area..

Cape Bojeador is said to be the highest-elevated lighthouse in the Philippines and the northwesternmost in location.

Here are some pics i got..

This is the rustic door that leads to the staircase going up to the actual lighthouse. You need to wait for your turn coz the stairs are narrow and only few can go up..

While going up to the beacon light.

We've reached the TOP!!

This is the fantastic facade of the Cape Bojeador also known as Burgos Lighthouse.

How to get here: Located approximately 35 kilometres north of the City of Laoag, there is a large sign along the national highway which serves as the landmark for Cape Bojeador Lighthouse

After the tiresome experience at Manila Ocean Park, we went to Luneta or Rizal Park.. I actually don't have any choice but to walk past Luneta because jeepneys going to Pedro Gil's at the end of it..

So, my prize is this.. I begged xave to take a picture of us with Rizal Monument at the background..and he gladly did it for us..

Luneta Park entrance: absolutely free..

Manila Ocean Park

Yes, we went to Manila Ocean Park, it wass once in a lifetime experience with, ugh, fishes.. lots of fishes...
Operating hours is from 10am – 9pm, Mondays through Sundays.

The Entrance Fee for adults is PHP400 (approximately US$10) and PHP350 (approximately US$9) for children. But since I have an ID ready, I only paid 360 pesos.. So happy, I got a discount since I am a Manila Resident.

Flash photography is not allowed, but.. hmm..

Eeeekk.... A Baby Boy!!

After several months of waiting, atlast, Jes called me up and told me Marc's at the hospital. WHew, I was so excited that I was absent for work that day, the hell I care, I'll be seeing the baby..

Last July 6, 2008, Xave, me, Tanya, Mike and Jes visited Marc's new born cute little baby at Novaliches. (sorry, i forgot the name of the Hospital..)

Little Yuri, (as what her mom wants to call him) was born the same day, July 6, 2008 (correct me if I'm wrong) through normal delivery. I was really excited to see Marc and the baby for some various reasons. I wanted to see if the baby got his mum's eyes, or nose, or Lips, or whatever.!!

The excitement is overflowing as we took pictures at the nursery room.. Hmm.. God is really magnificent!
Ultimately, seeing Yuri and Marc was great - I am now able to see that the baby utterly looks like his dad trix.. :glee:

I think for Marc, It was truly an experience worth having and worth enjoying. The feeling of becoming a mother.

Laughter can wipe a million tears away...

Cavite Weekend Getaway

Well honestly, i really don't remember the date of this getaway..But what I remember is that this took place at Bacoor Cavire.
Meeting place was at buendia, I was the second to the last to arrive.
So, we went to Poch's house first, when it started raining..Good thing is that we were able to ride a cab. =)

We survived without any food.. we just bought rice and beef, then Gran Matador (brandy) and San Mig Light (beer) then more swim. Thanks to Shine for bringing quail eggs.

Before going home, we went to Jolibee (fastfood restaurant) to eat, then after that I went to antipolo.
