White Island, Camiguin

March 13, 2012

About 2 kilometers away from the nearest beach  lays the beautiful White Island at Camiguin. We rented the boat for Php400 through Pabuas Cottages.
Wake up call was 5:00am to prepare and by 6:00am, the boatman called us to aboard the ship! lol. his boat! We we're given life vests too.

White Island is a white sand bar and is ideal for swimming and snorkeling! Beware that there's a lot of sea urchins! One can also rent a huge umbrella for Php100 only since there were no rooms or cottages in the area.

More Fun in the Philippines!

Entrance fee to the island is Php20. Locals use it for maintenance, cleanliness and protection of marine life!
Tourists would really enjoy their stay here and there's a lot of time to take pictures of Mount Hibok-hibok, Tres Marias and the Mount Vulcan as backdrop.

After an hour and half, we decided to go back to the resort to eat our breakfast prepared by Pabua owners that costs Php100 each meal.

After breakfast, we prepared to check out since we will also visit the Ostrich Farm. After that, we went to the Pastel Factory since 1 box (12pcs) costs Php140 only. Next stop was Giant Clams Snorkeling, ill post a separate blog for it. Then we ate at the lagoon that costs us 1600 for Lunch!
